Applicant must be either 

(i) a citizen of India, or 

(ii) a subject of Nepal, or 

(iii) a subject of Bhutan, or 

(iv) a Tibetan refugee (who came over to India before 1st January 1962) with the intention of permanently settling in India or 

(v) a person of Indian origin, who have migrated from Pakistan, Myanmar (formerly Burma), Sri Lanka, East African Countries of Kenya, Uganda, the United Republic of Tanzania (formerly Tanganyika and Zanzibar), Zambia, Malwai, Zaire, Ethiopia and Vietnam with the intention of permanently settling in India. 

Provided that an applicant belonging to categories (ii), (iii), (iv) or (v) above shall be a person in whose favour a certificate of eligibility has been issued by Government of India. The applicant, in whose case a certificate of eligibility is necessary, may participate in the selection process conducted by the IDBI Bank, but on final selection, the offer of appointment may be given only after the necessary eligibility certificate has been issued to him/ her by the Government of India.

IDBI JAM PGDBF Educational Qualifications

According to the IDBI Junior Assistant Manager notification 2024 PDF, the educational qualification requirements (as of January 31, 2024) are as follows:

• Candidates must hold a bachelor's degree in any discipline from a university recognized by the Government of India or any equivalent qualification recognized by the Central Government.
• Completion of only a diploma course will not suffice to meet the eligibility criteria.
• Candidates are required to demonstrate proficiency in computer skills.
• Preference will be given to candidates who exhibit proficiency in a regional language.

IDBI JAM PGDBF Selection Process 2024

The selection process for IDBI JAM PGDBF (Post Graduate Diploma in Banking and Finance) program typically involves multiple stages. Here's a general overview:

• Online Exam: The first stage usually consists of an online exam covering sections like Quantitative Aptitude, Reasoning Ability, English Language, General Awareness, and Banking Awareness. Candidates need to qualify in each section to proceed further.
• Personal Interview (PI): Those who clear the Online Exam move on to the personal interview stage. In the PI, candidates are evaluated on various parameters including their academic background, banking awareness, general awareness, communication skills, and personality traits.

The final selection is based on the cumulative performance of candidates in the online exam, and personal interview. Merit lists are prepared, and candidates are offered admission to the PGDBF program based on their ranks and availability of seats.

IDBI JAM PGDBF Exam Pattern 2024

As per the official notification, IDBI JAM PGDBF 2024 has 4 section i.e. Logical Reasoning, Data Data Analysis & Interpretation, English Language, Quantitative Aptitude & General/Economy/Banking Awareness. The total time duration for the exam is 2 Hours. There will be a 0.25 mark penalty for wrong answers. No marks will be deducted for unattempted questions.

IDBI JAM PGDBF Salary 2024

Candidates who are going to apply for the upcoming IDBI JAM PGDBF 2024 Exam, must be aware of the salary. Here is the brief explanation of the IDBI JAM PGDBF 2024 Salary: 

• Candidates who successfully clear the test and interview and enroll in the program will be provided a monthly stipend of ₹5000 for a training period of 6 months. During the 2-month internship, candidates will receive a stipend of ₹15,000.
• Upon completion of the PGDBF course and subsequent employment with the bank, candidates will receive a compensation package (CTC) ranging from Rs. 6.14 lakh to Rs. 6.50 lakh (applicable for Class A cities) upon joining.
