SNAP Eligibility Criteria 2024

To be eligible for the SNAP exam, candidates must meet the following criteria:

  • Must have a bachelor's degree in any discipline from a recognized university
  • Must have secured at least 50% marks in the qualifying exam (45% for reserved category candidates)
  • There is no age limit for the SNAP exam
  • Once SNAP exam is conducted, Symbiosis International University, Pune will announce the eligibility criteria to apply for admission in 15 Symbiosis Institutions.

What is the SNAP exam and why is it important?

The SNAP exam is a computer-based test that evaluates the candidates’ aptitude for admission to the MBA programs offered by the Symbiosis International University (SIU). It is important because it is the gateway to the top Symbiosis MBA colleges in India.

How many times can I appear for the SNAP exam and how is the final score calculated? +

You can appear for up to three tests for SNAP. If you appear for more than one test, the higher score will be considered for the final percentile calculation3. There will be no normalization of scores across different tests.

What is the structure and pattern of the SNAP exam and how much time do I have to complete it? +

The SNAP exam is divided into three sections: General English, Analytical & Logical Reasoning, and Quantitative, Data Interpretation & Data Sufficiency. The total number of questions is 60 and the total marks are also 60. Each question has four responses and you should choose the most appropriate one4. Each wrong answer attracts 25% negative marks. You have 60 minutes to complete the test.
