All the candidates should ensure that before filling SSC CHSL application form that they meet eligibility criteria of SSC CHSL, so one should ensure that one is meeting this eligibility criteria before applying for the exam of SSC CHSL. if you don't meet the eligibility criteria of SSC CHSL exam, you do not qualify and hence, you cannot apply for the SSC CHSL exam.

A candidate must be either:
A candidate must be 18-27 years of age as of 01-08-2024. Candidates born not before 02-08-1996 and not later than 01-08-2006 are eligible to apply. There is a provision of relaxation in the upper age limit as follows.

| 10 | Central Government civilian employees who have rendered 3 or more years of regular and continuous service as on closing date for receipt of online applications. | Up to 40 years of age |

The official notification for SSC CHSL 2024 Recruitment was released on 09-04-2024.
For this year the SSC has announced 4726 Vacancies for their Recruitment Drive.
SSC CHSL 2024 Examination comprises of a Computer Based online Examination (Tier-I), Descriptive Paper (Tier-II) along with Skill Test/ Typing Test (Tier-III).
There will be a negative marking in the SSC CHSL Tier 1 Exam of 0.50 marks.
