Delhi Police Constable Executive Selection Procedure
The Staff Selection Commission (SSC) conducts an open competitive examination for the recruitment of Constable (Executive) Male and Female in Delhi Police. The exam consists of four stages: Computer Based Examination, Physical Endurance and Measurement Test, Medical Examination and Document Verification. Here are the instructions for each stage.
Computer Based Exam Pattern
The Computer Based Examination is an objective type test that covers topics such as General Knowledge/Current Affairs, Reasoning, Numerical Ability and Computer Fundamentals. The exam has 100 questions and each question carries one mark. There is a negative marking of 0.25 marks for each wrong answer. The duration of the exam is 90 minutes. Candidates have to qualify the cut-off marks decided by the SSC to be eligible for the next stage.

Physical Endurance and Measurement Test
The Physical Endurance and Measurement Test (PE&MT) is conducted by Delhi Police at various venues in Delhi. The PE&MT consists of physical tasks such as running, long jump, high jump and measurement of height and chest. The PE&MT is qualifying in nature and no marks are awarded for it. Candidates have to meet the physical standards prescribed by Delhi Police to qualify the PE&MT.
Medical Examination
The Medical Examination is conducted by Delhi Police to check the medical fitness of the candidates. The Medical Examination includes tests such as vision, hearing, blood pressure, urine analysis, etc. Candidates have to be free from any disease or disability that may interfere with the efficient performance of their duties. Candidates who are found medically fit are eligible for the next stage.
Document Verification
The Document Verification is the final stage of the recruitment process. Candidates have to produce their original documents such as educational certificates, identity proof, caste certificate, etc. for verification by the SSC. Candidates who fail to produce the required documents or whose documents are found to be false or tampered with are disqualified from the selection process.
